We had several cameras rolling pretty much the whole time. I don't know how good the footage is going to be but I assume we will get at least a few tunes out of it.
Derek was kind enough to bring his Pro Tools rig and record the show so the audio on the video will be miced direct for a change. That's always nice.
It's going to be a while before anything is edited but as usual I will share the stuff when it's done.

yeah, that was the best Altered gig I've seen. I really think they're about the best fusion group in L.A. now.

Also great to meet "WecklsMechanic" John at the gig. Great guy and always fun to meet the HOD clan in person.

It was great putting a face to the some of the HOD people. Derek is quite the officianto!! Steven!! All I have to say is "WHEW"!!!

The part when I shouted "Maybe you should get a stunt double/drummer" for those burning solos are so you don't hurt yourself. You can see the total concentration and passion that Steve emits in his playing. I am confident that Steve is going to be one of those great drummers that people talk about 30 years from now like other greats.

I've seen many a underground fusion acts here in L.A. over the past 20 years, and Altered joins the ranks of the highly regarded L.A. Fusion "Cats".
